    Thanks for the info. I am not certain but the ad lists the serial as 6911 but in an answer to someones questions it is listed as 5911. It would be a shame if 6911 was parted out because according to the 330 registry 6911 was the last series 1 330 produced.

    Thanks for the help. I poked around Kerry's site until I found the info that you have been showing me. Seeing the price that the car sold for the second last time, I can only assume that the reeserve most likely won't be met this time either.

    Interesting. In comparing pictures of 5911 when it was for sale 5/08, the Chicago car is 5911, not 6911. I'll correct my records.

    Actually, I am happier with it being 5911. I believe that 6911 was the first interim car (5 speed), but this car clearly has an O/D lever so a 4 speed transmission. This change resolves that issue. For a long time, 6939 was reported as the first interim car, but then 6937 surfaced with a 5 speed. In looking at the PF body parts manual, the changes needed for the 5 speed occurred at the body number of 6911, which is why I think it was the first. This makes a series of RHD cars ending with 5883 being the last Series 1 models.

    BTW, 5883 is alive and well in the UK.

    Thanks for maintaining a excellent website for those of us newbie less knowledgeable types. I am quite new to the Ferrari scene although I have been around cars my entire life. It is so neat that you all share information so freely. I will continue looking for a nice 330 but I am not in to much of a hurry and I will definately consult the registry before purchasing anything.
