    Yes, that was a little strange..

    I previously owned a 65 in signal red w/black. They are absolutely gorgeous with the covered headlights.. one of those I should have kept.

    First year for all syncro-mesh trans, and 4.2 engine.
    Also dipped floor boards instead of flat

    What a dogs dinner. I suspect this started life as a V12 2 plus 2. Seems higher in the rear quarter. By this time faired in headlamps were long gone. So,someone ,perhaps a coachbuilder had decided to make a new bonnet(hood), possibly Italian. To show this in a group of the worlds most beautiful cars beggars belief!!!

    There's nothing that a designer can do to a series 1 E-type to make it better looking. Perhaps slightly wider wheels, but that's it. In this case, Frua went horribly wrong. As previous post said, 1 of 1 thankfully.
