    Hi all:

My father located in his book stash what we believe is an original printing of the 1966 yearbook (unfortunately, I do not have pics). The text is in Italian, the spine has no writing at all (just white/off-white in color I believe)...but what has us thinking it is not a reprint is that the cover itself is textured, not smooth as a reprint might be?

Anyone have any idea how to tell a reprint from an original for this particular year and perhaps what its value may be? On the assumption it is not a reprint, I have searched on eBay as well as googled it to find other auction results, but nothing to really indicate fair value.

Thanks in advance for any comments from the experts on this site!

    Joe

The print quality is the tell-tale, the reprints are less distinct. Are the photographs in full color?

    Hi Joe
If your yearbook has some colour photos and some colour print then its original. If all the photos are b/w then it's a reprint.
