I know, I know...I deserve a ton of flak for being an opportunist and selling the car when it's in Excellence...but to be honest I could really use the money. Flame away if you wish...it's a spectacular car that will make the winner very happy.

Very nice. I had a 1966 (among many others) 911 back in 1968-69. It was also slate but with black interior. This is a very nice car. I love the pure SWB cars with steel wheels, etc.

Thanks for the support guys...I may have been a little reactive in my original post. :D

In the early Porsche world opportunists tend to be looked down upon...that's one thing I like about the Ferrari crowd. Most of them have gotten where they are due to being opportunists and they understand that selling your car for a profit doesn't make you any less of an enthusiast for the marque.

Buy low sell high. Not opportunist so much as sound business practice. I've said before that I hope my car does not go up in value. At some point price outstrips value and decisions have to be made. They are great cars but at some point one has to convert to cash. I did this with a house once and it was the best decision I'd made to that point. GLWS.

I still have the tilted "911' from the tail of my old '66 sitting on a table in the garage. Can I get $1,000 for it?

Great combo. The interior is great looking. Stunning and for 90k buys in the classic car world seems like a great car for the money. GLWS. Don't worry about being an opportunist because the guy who buys it will make money when he sells it too. I doubt that car will go anywhere but up.
