I know it can be easily corrected but the badging is really cringe worthy.

If you have never driven a Fiat Dino spider, especially the 2400 version, you have missed one of the great cars.

Depends on the rust. Very few pictures which makes me suspicious.

The ones that rust. In my opinion this will easily cost as much as a 246 to fix.

I have owned two Fiat Dino Spiders and two Fiat Dino Coupes. The engine rebuild will be the largest expense if the unit body is compromised with rust. Brakes are easy. Fiat transmissions are specific to Fiat Dinos. Great cars. The Spider being the best. The Weber’s howl can be heard very well in the Spider. Fiat Dinos are a lot easier to work on than a Dino 246. I used to own a 246 Dino GT.

I owned a 73 and 74 GTS. No longer having them but I have a 67 spider now and enjoying it tremendously. Love the 2.0 howling you're talking about. My motor #250 is early 2.0, can be found on engine block with Fiat stamp next to it.

Nothing sounds like a Dino engine. It not just the exhaust. Its the timing chain rattle, the carbs sucking, the valve train noise, that V6 cadence. The most unique engine in the world.

This is an all alloy version, wich sound even better than the 2400 steel block versions.

Not sure about the condition of the body, but a good buy for a project for a do it yourselfer who could go at it little by little. They are great cars and don't come on the market at this price that often.
