I have also posted it on FerrariAds so here's the link to the ad:
    http://www.ferrarichat.com/ferrariads/showproduct.php?product=930

It concerns 1 of my two Zagato's (S/N 1800488) and I have to part with it now as I am absolutely lacking the time to finish it.

It is one of the very few of this model (of which only 1042 were ever built) that is virtually rust free.

It requires still a lot of work (mostly nut & bolt) and is largely complete.

Technical parts are the same as for any 105 series Alfa.

Will shoot better pictures coming weekend.

The history file can be found here:

What was your impression seeing it in the showroom? The high stance and large gap at the wheel well at the front is always surprising to me, although I understand it was always that way (and the body-color paint inside the wheel well does't help reduce the effect).

Yeah, I was reading through the VIN discussion.. ..which I think is a bit misplaced and a distraction. I don't think it will suppress serious bidding. It looks to be a very clean and intact Jr,Z with a few cosmetic issues. Not surprising for a car this age. The dashboard detailing on the passenger side appears to be difficult to correct. OEM parts are exceedingly scarce.

    Cheers,

I was there to inspect another vehicle...(454 max bling Camaro) for JJ Best but just took a quick look at the Alfa. Looked complete + clean. These guys have interesting stuff...Dino, Boxer, S1 XKE....

Told me they had 3 offers on the Dino so it may be gone.
Alfa just a sweet little car.

These cars are so cute but the body parts are unobtainium.

Thanks Fred, I was the high bidder with RNM.. but negotiations concluded successfully with the Seller today. Wire transfer tomorrow. Title on Friday. I am very happy. I've been wanting and looking for one privately for a very long time and met some really positive owners along the way.. It's been years, and I've gotten to know them and they rave about how fun the JrZ is to drive.. and will not sell theirs. LOL.. So I had to go out and get my own!

Nice purchase. It does look like a very nice one. With a few parts searches you will have a perfect JR. I always thought these cars set the trend at Alfa for the Alfetta GT's.

Thx Tommy, yeah the black wiper blades are the first things that have to go.. I have some old school stainless ones waiting.. Then some dash trim, get the hanging wires tucked back up under the dash, and I'll store the OEM rims and rubber while I drive it on some aftermarket alloys. Hm.. what else did you notice? Straighten the front grill trim and rear bumper trim.. Cheers!

The steering wheel, but the one on the car looks nicer than stock. Classic Alfa has some real nice wiper blades for 105 cars. I saw one of these cars with GTA 7 inch wide wheels and it looked nice. The 1970 Zagato stand in Turin I believe had one with star alloys, and that looked nice also.

Great buy, congrats. Alfaholics built one up for Gordon Murray, I'd look to that for inspiration!
