    This was just posted and there is an astounding amount of period Dino content from the factory. It even shows the engine being installed on the assembly line which is the first time I have seen it. A real treasure of content.

    Rob, the engine install was pretty interesting- it looks like they just hung the assembly almost vertically by 1 cable on the front

    Agreed it is very interesting. My theory is that this technique allows for the most clearance when installing the engine together with the bell housing (which is almost impossibly tight if removing the engine horizontally). The downside is that it requires a much higher lift and just the right balance point to get right. I would be interested to know how the final lowering into place was handled and if there was an additional person below to guide the assembly into position. My initial thoughts was that this technique was easier with the suspension missing but the following period photo (separate from the video) would debunk that theory as it is clear that the complete suspension together with drive shafts were installed prior to the engine being lowered in.

    Yeah, I bet there is a guy down below to push the end up and guide it in place.
    I noted they had the distributor installed without the cap, this appears to be an M-series but I'm not sure this would work on 206/L-series with the different chassis design under the engine.
