I just came across the following from "Road & Track Specials (1974)", which I am reproducing for general information -

"You won't find any longer, heavier Dinos this year (1974) because of the 1974 bumper standards - because there are no 1974 Ferraris for sale in the U.S. There are 1972 coupes and 1973 Spiders for sale though, nice new Ferraris that were apparently stockpiled against the changing regulations."

In the discussion earlier this year on the blue Cooper Classics Dino, a 1972 model first sold by Garwaithe-Chinetti in 1974, an FChatter wondered how that could happen, and another contributed that his 1972 was also sold new in 1974. The 1974 R&T observation just quoted probably explains why.
