    Local lady had her 1973 911S on the side of the road near Monterey Airport yesterday with a for sale sign on it and four or five cars lined up behind her asking her about the car. I stopped to see what was going on. She sold the car there on the spot for $200K. She bought it used in 1975 and while nice looking it was simply a driver quality car but in silver / black. It appeared she had two interested buyers and they guy that stopped first became the lucky new owner.

    As far as I know thats the top price ever paid for a road car other than the McQueen Le Mans Movie car.
