This car was bought new in 1977 from Continental Motors in Chicago and has spent it's entire life in Tucson, Arizona. Original owner is selling the car. Only driven appx 17,000 miles since new. The owner has several cars and after the first few years the car ended up at the front of the garage. Daily drivers got in the way.

All original documents and service records are available along with the factory window sticker, invoice & owners manual. The original tool kit is intact in it's leather roll and in unused condition.

Recent major ($9000) service at FMS in Phoenix, included rebuilt carbs, distributors and all timing belts and seals along with the coolant tank and other needed items. Brand new, correct Michelin XWX tires were just installed as well.

The car starts & runs great, no overheating or other driveability issues, shifts as it should.

Palomino leather interior is beautiful with no visible wear. Original factory carpets and mats cabin & trunk are in place and in great condition.

This car was originally Verde Pina (Pine Green) metallic. Stripped and painted Mille Miglia Red in 1979 or so. Nothing wrong with the paint at that time, red just seemed like the thing to do then. Hindsight, maybe leaving it green would have been better for value.

This car is a true time capsule with very little wear considering it is now approaching 40 years old. I'm sure there are details not addressed here, the car is being driven now and as items pop up they are being addressed. Not a lot of photos here, but I will generate more inducing some undercarriage shots next week.

    The good:
    Absolutely no rust
    Beyond the paint, 99% original
    Extremely low mileage

    The needed:
A little follow up tune work, it's a little rich
Front brakes have the slightest right pull.
A/C needs charge, I am handling that.
Glove box cover has a star crack

Price? Asking $59,900. The range of condition in the GT4's I have seen is dramatic and there are not a lot of actual sales, so who knows how much it's worth. This one is a real car, real no excuses documentation and pretty darn nice. Happy to answer any questions and am interested in the opinion of the group. Chrome trim, wiper arms blacked out.
Interior might not be original - door pockets should be ribbed.

    Thanks for the notes.

A/C is now charged and blowing nice & cold. Needed an o-ring at the condenser fitting.

Regarding the window trim, reviewing the paint records I do see a note referencing black window trim paint, so an accurate observation there. 1979 was a long time ago.

Regarding the door pockets, I have seen this comment on other listings. I can say that the interior is absolutely original as delivered.

Other maintenance items are in process, I don't like making excuses for a car's condition regardless of age.

Such a unique car in Ferrari history, and an amazing example. Wishing I had room for a third f-car.
