Okay, well the pictures from the restoration were lost on the old board so I thought I'd post them again in case anyone missed them or wanted to see before and after pics. The car was a basket case that really should have been turned into a track car or parted out. There were lots of parts missing. Basically the previous owners ran out of money and took the car from shop to shop losing parts along the way. Then it was sold to "Rock's Auto" in Toronto who had visions of a track car. I came along and bought it for the right (or wrong) price and 4 years later and a lot of elbow grease, money and help it is now on the road. Complete engine and suspension rebuild, new exhaust, Momo rims, every nut and bolt cleaned and replated...

We'll start with before pics and then the after...

Beautiful car. Obviously a lot of hard work (and money) went into getting it in the shape it is now. It always makes me happy to see someone do this for the love of the car because I know they appreciate what they have.

Thanks guys, yes a lot of hard work (Thanks Rock) and money but it's still worked out cheaper than a new Honda Accord!

I can tell you from first hand experience the car drives better than it looks (if you can believe it).

Jay, a big salute goes to you for saving such a beautiful car, and bringing it back to its orginal glory.

    Enjoy in good health !!

Jay, fantastic work! I just picked up a 75 308gt4 and this post has really motivated me to spiffy it up. Were the front and rear bumper mounts modified by you? It appears they are tucked in closer to the body than on the USA cars and look much better. Also, when did you begin the project?
