I am liking GT4's more and more every day, nice to see another pretty one. Great work Jay.

Re: shift lever. I was thinking when I put mine together I should write how I done it, now its foggy. I remember trying different clamps, but they got in the way. I think I ended up just shoving it in with a tool, or my fingers, and quickly getting the snap ring in. I might have even used the snap ring pliers themselves to help push, with the snap ring along for the ride. But I did mine on a bench vise, I dont know what doing it in the car would be like.

Got the car out at Mosport Raceway this week with the new springs...WOW! What a difference! Car is much more solid in the corners and gives more confidence. I was definately faster. I was taking corners with more speed and the car didn't roll as much. By the second session my confidence was high enough to brake much later and be more agressive in the turns...and I thought it was good before!

Here's a pic of me overtaking another yellow GT4 on the pit straight. I'm on the left!

Thought I'd re-up this thread. Here's a pic infront of a Firetruck from our annual FCA rally back in the fall. I got another stone chip on the drivers side. Boy am I glad I didn't get a new windshield after the last chip! Anyone parting out a car that wants to sell a windshield? :D

Well I bit the bullet and got 328 rims! Unfortunately I only got 3! Looking for a 7" front 328 rim. If anyone has a lead on one I'd appreciate an email. I'll post pics when they arrive...

Good move. Your car will be one of the best looking out there with original style wheels.

Well, the elusive 4th wheel got here before the three I stole! :D
Got it from GatorFL on Fchat and it's brand new, just a few light scratches from sitting on the shelf but it looks fantastic. It even came with a center cap! Can't wait to get the other 3 from the ebay auction. More pics to follow...

Got all 4 rims repainted and fixed up. New rubber too...Bridgestone RE760 Sport 205/55/16 and 225/50/16's. Got the rubber from Tire Rack and it arrived within a few days of placing order. Rock installed and balanced today.

She's all ready for the FCA Nationals here in Toronto this summer!

I can't believe how different the car looks with the 328 rims. Now I need new lugs, my old ones are early style (not chromed) with the FA on the heads.

Jay, the 328 wheels are very nice! Where did you find them? Also, were they unable to put the balancing weights on the inside of the wheels?

I got three of the rims on ebay for dirt cheap! They looked like a dog had been chewing on them. The forth rim I got from Duane (GatorFL) in Florida. We tried putting the weights on the inside but it kept calling for more and more so we decided to go half and half. I think the most we put on the outside was 3/4 oz. The tires are nice and sticky too!

Your car has really come to life with those 328 wheels!! What did you do for the centercaps? Did you mill down the spindles and mod the dustcap or are you running sans dust caps?

    She's a beauty!!!

Beautiful GT4! I've always liked those as it is the first Ferrari I ever sat in back in 11th grade in the summer of '82.
