I will be listing a recently acquired 1975 Dino 308GT4 I purchased last week on eBay shortly. The car is a project, one which I do not have the time for. I did not realize the work involved, and will be selling her.

Car was stated as being painted in 2012 by the dealer I purchased it from in CA. It also had new leather front seats and carpet installed around the same time. She does run and PPI states she is in good working order, but you could have fooled me.

I do like her and will be looking for a model not so much in need of work. I ordered 2 used door panels, which are included in the sale. Car is currently at Algar.

Please PM me if you would like additional information.

    Thank you.

I wondered about that one on eBay. There was a lot of discussion here about it. Their description made it seem ready to go to me too. Good luck with the sale, there has been a lot of GT4 interest lately here. Price?

There's a lot of bad metal and a lot of sleazy dealers out there.

love the looks. If it was red interior, it would have looked really nice next to my TR.

What needs to be fixed? You say it's a project but why? I had been watching this car im assuming it is the same one that was posted on specialty sales classics in redwood city.

Yes, it is that car. I am having the car reviewed right now. It does start, does run, but looks like it may need a tune up, seems to be running sluggish. With that said, for me, it is just not the quality I would keep without work being done.

Just from my initial review, looks like it's missing the AC, front cover under the hood where the spare tire is located is missing, headlight does a fancy dance when lowered, driver door is difficult to open, radio antenna is present but uncertain if it works, has cutout on opposite side of antenna where CB antenna was installed, rear trunk is a mess missing lower section of carpet, wrong steering wheel, and several other issues.

Also, being a 75 means it should have the Dino rims and badging. I know Ferrari advised dealerships to install Ferrari badging around this time, but it technically is not period accurate.

Like I said before, just not a project I am willing to spend time on, but may be minor for someone else. Good points are the car was painted, new carpet, and new front seats. I purchased 2 used ( in better shape) door panels that are included in the sale. I was also able to dig up some pedigree on the car which I have included.

I'll try to dig up the original thread and eBay listing on this car. I'm sorry you didn't have this information before you bought it. The dealer bought it on eBay for $23k last fall then turned around and relisted it for $33k a few weeks later except they didn't list all the racing history or potential color change like the private seller who was open about.

The headlight dance is a common gt4 malady and is simply a stuck relay. It's under the floorboard on the passenger side - just stomping on the floor with my foot cures mine (#10704) for 6 months at a time.

It's worth noting, though, that those are NOT Ferrari seats. I don't know what car they are out of, buy they are NOT gt4 seats -they've just been recovered to look like they belong.
