The donor car for this RSR build was a 1975 US version 2.7 911S coupe, so there never was an "original" 3.0 RSR engine.
This car was built with real RSR parts, but it is not an original RSR. If it was the price would be much higher.
This car was built in the 1980's by Diego Febles in Puerto Rico. Diego was a well know RSR racer with worked closely with and drove under the Brumos banner. He and his son built this car using actual RSR parts from the spares he had and stealing from other cars. Other than the outlaw engine, it is very correct. It was restored in 2015 by Kevin Gennette at Gunnar Racing and Jeff Bye. This car is so original, and has such a rich ownership history that is was accepted by and ran in the Monterey Historics. It did race in the 1980's but only in regional races.
