S/N 12850 with 135850 KM (84,400 miles) just sold at the Artcurial auction for $76,000. Given the mileage and overall condition, it seems like a strong price realized though glad to see it. Hope the new owner has fun with it.

Following is translation of item description (and a sampling of pictures below):

The car of the sale was delivered new by Pozzi at the end of 1976 and totals 135 850 km on the meter what seems to be real. The current owner acquired it in 2012 and entrusted it to the Lecoq establishments for a restoration in the rules of art following an accident which necessitated a laser marble Shark under the leadership of Jean Luc Bois in 2014. A complete painting as well as an important mechanical revision were then executed. Timing belts were replaced in 2014 and the car has only covered 2,000 km since. The brakes, water hoses, radiator, steering rack, silent-blocks, other bearings and ball joints were replaced as well as the clutch to 111 000 km at Auvergne Moteur. It is equipped with air conditioning, 16 'Cromodora wheels and almost new Pirelli tires in 205 front and 225 in the rear and a Pionner radio assisted by an Alpine amplifier. The interior is stretched black leather of the most beautiful effect and the painting of a beautiful depth. With only 6 years of production and 2826 copies, the 308 GT4, a worthy descendant of the Dino 246, remains an extremely well-balanced, efficient and practical car with its 4 seats, its central V8 engine and Bertone's taut line design.

I thought over the summer you asked that everyone write or call Cavallino to do a article on the GT4. the photo is a 1979 issue number 5

I did and they raised the prices a bit but I told them know of 3 that sold for over 150K and they moved it up to 60K. They still have the really
high 246 prices but explain one was a crazy auction price. MS told me he sold a nice US version for $100K........ makes no sense.........

you can find that copy if you search hard enough about 150-200$ Actually it is a us car. here is a better pic

I did notice that the Forza put the top price of GT4 above 308 GTB steel.

Why can't/won't they do a new article on Gt4s? Does it always gotta be about the same old classics?
