Anyone have any information of the 77 308 GTB advertised in FerrariAds.com parts category? I have emailed Artvonne but no response.

its going to be hard to ship the car with no suspension ect. it seems like a nice car for a project though (GTO? track car?) . but he really needs to put it on chasis dollies so that it can be shipped. he was very pleasant on the phone when i spoke with him about the car last year, i am sure it would be fun to build!

    good luck !

Do you have specs on a chassis dolly? I've never seen one other than home made.

i dont. i almost bought it when it was last offered. i am sure someone sells the dollies, but it was too much work for me to get into. i would rather buy one that drives and fix this and that as needed. i am sure he will get back to you soon, the car sounds like it would be fun to build into a monster.

Michael - please forgive my pet peeve, but I have always sworn I would never do business with someone who reduced etcetera to ect (should be etc). There was one car you sold in the not too distant past that I would have purchased save for the arrangement of those 3 letters.

If you PM me an address/account to which I can send you funds & at the same time promise to start using etc in lieu of ect - I will send you $10 via paypal.

wow, you are right. it should be "etc" i bet i have been doing it the wrong way all along. i will try to pay better attention. i am a aircraft mechanic, not an office worker, so my typing and office skills suffer as such. i work in a aicraft hangar and outside all day. very little typing involved.

if the spelling error kept you from purchasing an exotic, i feel for ya man, you need help ! :)

thank you for correcting me though, i need to be put in my place now and then. as far as your generous offer goes, i respectfully decline. :)

    Michael

Thanks Michael - you're right, I probably do need help :)

Didn't mean to be a prlck & glad you took it well. I'll try not to drink & type in the future. I'll also keep my eyes on whatever nifty vehicles are passing through your mitts - that Jalpa a while back was awesome!

Back from hijacking the thread - I hope pad & Artvonne work something out & get that gtb back on the road!

:) i checked my latest ad on ferrariads, no "etc's" were harmed in my 911 Carrera ad :)

back on topic, i wonder if a supercharged 4.0 liter 308 engine could be sourced for this body.....
