    Who cut it in half??

    The original part is one piece.....the mounting flange that mates to the car is NOT chopped like that, at the oval openings..
    I have never seen it in two pieces...those mounting holes are too large as well....

    I am getting to run about ten replicas, before I return the OEM part I am using..

    None of those points are an issue for me. It will save me the trouble of cutting it in half to fit my exhaust tip spacing. The mounting flange will have to be modified anyways to fit the car. It is not actually going on a Ferrari, so it is perfect for me.

    That's actually the reason for my job, also.

    ANSA and lots of aftermarket systems did not match the OEM muffler in regards to tip spacing.

    So, the ovals have to move, for it to go back on!!!

    I am thinking about leaving them loose, for the end user to tack on, where they need them!!

    Thats the way it came off the car, all I did was strip various layers of paint off it. It was never re-installed on the car before selling.
