I'm relatively new to this forum, but recently our home downsizing has forced me to look into selling my car which I have owned since 1982.
Fly Yellow 1977 (late 76 production) #20607 with 37k miles. Car/interior is in good shape given its age, always garaged, never driven in wet. All original with exception I have BBS wheels. Per the 308 register (I'm not sure they're correct) and I quote, "The first steel bodied car is regarded to be #20805. But there is at least one steel car known in the USA with a lower number, having definitely a steel body".
Car is located in Norcal, not registered because air pump not connected (I have part) and will not pass Smog. A/C works but needs freon charge, driver side window switch needs replacement, minor dent in RR quarter panel, interior is in good shape. Major service was done in 2010, so is due again. Oil and filter changed annually, brake fluid and coolant should also be changed, although very low miles since last time these fluids were replaced.
I find prices across the board from $65 to over $100k, which is much higher than I first anticipated but with rising tide, I may as well take advantage of the market. Asking $95k.
Please email me at [email protected] for pictures and more info.

Not true. I owned #20405 from 1982-2006 and it was a steel bodied car . I also think there are "older" steel bodied cars than #20405.
