Was the lower portion of the body on all 1977 512bb's black? If so, does anyone know what the paint code was?

    Paint code boxer trim

They used Glidden Salchi of Milan paint in 1977 i think and the code is:

20.B.50 for the black paint and 20.T.380 for the matt clear paint

    No, I have been offered the first 512, it's actually a 1976........engine 00004.

The first three blew up, on the dyno.

The 1976 is the only 512BB with a 19*** VIN, if you have the list you can see it....

It does indeed fall among the 365BB production....but no doubt the first production 512s started soon after, in 1977....

Do you have Nathan Beehl's book?

Hillary Raab's list is considered definative, but lists the one I looked at as a 'Prototype'...

I think the good Doctor knows what he owns.......

It's a retired doctor that owns the one here, coincidentally.....
