I love the line "engine needs some work...has a hole on the side"! so exactly what are you getting for your $11k USD besides a big paperweight? And the double pictures of engine block in case we didn't get the point.

Sure Mr. Hubbell here has some more stories to add to it if he chooses.

How it got to $11K is a mystery. This car would cost more to make run than it would cost to buy one that runs fine!

That thing is a rat. Not only that, but it isn't a real Ferrari. From what I can see, it's a home built tube frame car with an ugly glass body hung on it. The price wouldn't be bad, if it ran and just needed some TLC. As it sits you will spend a fortune getting it to the point that it could take to the track and you still may be saddled with a car with serious design flaws that handles like poop! For my money, I'd rather start with a clean sheet of paper.

That car is going to be a money pit. If Jim Carpenter had anything to do with it....it will never work! I know a bunch of guys that spent ALOT of money with that guy and the cars were so poorly engineered and developed. I was at a track event with several of his cars and NONE of them ever was able to complete a lap. I pitty the dummy who buys that.

It is a real car, owned by one of our respected members. (you may know him better as Will the guy with 2 TRs, a black one and a silver race version, and who just got a F40)

For all the enquiring minds out there. Yes it was my car & the engine blew at Pocono maybe 10 years ago & it sat in my garage for a long time. I intended to rebuild it but I got an offer & sold it instead & put that $ towards my F40.

It was a Jim Carpenter built 308 with SCCA papers & qualified for SCCA GT2 racing

No, I am not the one selling it now
