    I'd like to finally start to understand what each and every hose and wire is on my 308 engine bay. I attempted this 15 years ago before I had a good camera phone, etc...

    I will get the service and owners manuals and try and get as far as I can on my own.

    Since I was just in there working on my coolant tank, what is the black can next to the coolant explanation tank? and what is the hose behind the coolant tank, and what's the little thing in the bend of that hose? where does that hose go to? thank you.

    Charcoal canister: evaporative emissions (gas fumes)
    Hose from canister at passenger side gas tank to charcoal canister for air
    Blocked off line for air injection pump input to air injection nozzles in exhaust header

    Get a pdf or paper copy of the parts catalog.
