    The 1978 has the skinny cigarette lighter so the adapter is skinny too.

    I've ended up with two extras for my 78 (small European plug), so if you'd like one, just let me know. Both are in very nice condition with original pouches and original retaining band. How about $150 plus shipping? You can send a pm if you are interested.

    Image Unavailable, Please Login Here we go with a picture. I see there are some differences in the plugs and the vinyl bags. The body of the left plug is smaller and has the Hella logo. The bag on the right has a texture or grain, with a small seam tear at the opening.
