Are a 1978 308 GT4 wheels magnesium or normal alloy? I want to get them restored and the price difference is pretty big!

They are not a "normal" (Aluminum) alloy nor, technically, a Magnesium alloy (which would require being 50%, or more, Magnesium). What they are is an unusual Aluminum alloy with a very high amount of Magnesium content (like 30%). Ferrari calls them "Light Alloy" in their documentation. They do require the same special painting/restoration processes that a truly Magnesium alloy wheel requires.
