I am currently in the process of installing an MSD system but am having problems. The car is a Euro 308GT4 fitted with a single distributor but has two pickups. Are these likely to be the magnetic type and does one still have to leave the amplifiers in place ? I'm not sure whether to use the MSD white feed or the green/ violet. Thanks in advance.

Unless someone has a very clever way to do it, I am fairly certain that you will need a separate MSD box for each of your two coils, triggered by that coil's respective set of points.

Have two MSD boxes but have spent abit more time on it now and it appears one of the MSD's is defective(!) as only one bank is firing. So will have to wait another 2weeks for one to arrive. Grrrrrr................

Yuk - that sounds very frustrating. Although you are probably doing this as well, I would switch to two MSD Blaster II coils at this time.

Have actually used a couple of crane fireball coils as had these on the car already. Can't wait for the whole set up to work and will be interesting to see the difference in how the car runs and go's. Intending to uprate the jetting at the same time .
