Never would have thought you had 98K miles on it. Looks better then many with less miles.

Sorry to see you sell it.

Just because you don't have a Ferrari doesn't mean you can't hang out with us. Nunez club welcomes all as part of its diversity policy.

Actually I'm in the process of turboing the S2000 and buying an E46 M3 for a daily driver. I wont have too much spare cash laying around after that!

Unfortunately my Ferrari days must wait until after law school. Hopefully I'll be able to jump into something like an F430 in 5-7 short years. Fingers crossed.

I too would have never guessed upwards of 90k miles. She has aged with much grace!

I'm actually still an undergrad; I've been at SLU for a few years now.

Due to a very unfortunate situation, my life is changing drastically by the day. My father took his own life on June 3rd. I found him shortly thereafter. He left me the money I will need to finish school in a manner that is conducive to an aspiring attorney. The financial alleviation is allowing me to transfer to Tulane in January to finish my Political Science degree. I'll be applying to Tulane law in a few semesters.

I keep busy all day so I don't have to think about it, and I hardly sleep at night. I miss my father very much. No education or any amount of money will ever fill that void. I'll can only hope that I will lead a life that would have made him proud of me.

I'm here to tell you gentlemen that suicide is a permanent solution to a very temporary problem. Nothing in life is so bad that it cannot be fixed. I only wish my father would have realized this.

    Sorry for the thread-jacking Gerard!

I'm so sorry to hear this. Suicide is the most awful thing, period. I feel upset whenever I hear about someone taking their own life even not knowing the person, so I can't even imagine how painful it must be for you.

Frank. I think that actually may have helped. They know that it's in good enough shape to take out and run hard. I already have sold it to a guy from California. It took all of 30 minutes to sell. I am still getting people wanting to buy it.

He is the "other project" It's been in the family since new. It was stored by my brother for 23 years. After Katrina he told me to come get it, he lost interest in it years ago and I always wanted to restore it again. I was 12 and he was 15 when he bought it from Howard Motors on Lee Circle.
He wanted to buy a GTO but since I was a NASCAR fan I convinced him to go with the Plymouth. By the way Richard Petty won 27 Grand National Races that year with a Hemi GTX back when "Stock Cars" were Stock.
The car was white with a copper interior when new and that is how it's going back. All numbers match down to the carb ID tag and it is a four speed with the big Dana 60 rear end.
I took the window sticker off it a few days after it came home. I have the orgional 1967 LA license plate, owners manual, bill of sale, every registration for the last 41 years.

    Quick sale!
    Good luck with the restoration.

I grew up on Mopar muscle- my dad retired from Chrysler.
I had a '67 Charger that was white with a copper interior.

Well, it would sure be helpful if either of you had any contacts there. I SUPPOSEDLY have a few letters being written on by behalf, but a little more help wouldn't hurt. A good friend of the family is setting up a meeting for me with Archbishop Hannan. Hopefully he will write a letter for me. Another friend is getting me a letter from Tim Burns.... and another friend is getting a letter for me from her uncle (a Tulane graduate)..... I hesitate to say.... Jerry Springer. Yes, the Jerry Springer. My grades and test scores speak for themselves.

Hopefully none of this will fall through. I would really like to get a nice scholarship so my mother doesn't have to take money out of her pocket. My dad left money for this purpose, but I would rather see it go to my mother. Anything will help.

That's correct, THE Jerry Springer, former mayor of Cincinnati, went to Tulane.

Then I heard he did some sort of show, but I am not sure I buy it......
