Selling my well sorted 1979 308GTB, extensive maintenance records documenting the care the car has received. Same owner for over 30 years. An engine rebuild was done by the previous owner, the Koni's rebuilt and much additional work to keep the car driving as best as it could. Interior and Exterior show wear as would be expected for a 46 year old car, while still looking great. Overall the car is mostly original except for the stereo, Ansa Exhaust and an upgrade to 16" wheels early in it's life. The car rides on Michelin tires which have very few miles on them. FCA annual meet is in Sept, this year celebrates the 308GTB for it's 50th year. This would be a great car to bring to the show. Please call with any questions. I'm happy to do a video call of the car or meet in person. Please call 904-874-4877, I would prefer no text messages. $89,500 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Surprised there hasn't been interest. How many miles? Looks like a nice car although I'm not sure about those side mirrors. Best luck with the sale!!
Decent interest just lowered the price to what I've been offering it for, hopefully to get the lookers off the fence. This is my third 308GTB and it's by far the best driving. Felt the same way about the mirrors at first but now love them, especially after driving with them. As a rule any changes in period I typically leave alone. Thanks Jdubbya!
Not asking for myself but I have a friend looking for a GTB. Does this one have a 50 State/CA emissions sticker?
No, it's not Cali compliant. Has after market exhaust and no Cats, no sticker (not sure what else would be needed). If I was in California I'd really be looking for something exempt or something much newer. Just not worth the hassle.
I like the non-original mirrors which I'm sure are a lot more useful than the factory ones on my 76 GTB. Do you know where they were sourced or the brand name?
OMG yes! I like the 288 look of them and they are so much more useful than the stock mirrors. They are Vitaloni mirrors. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I believe that given this car is over 35 years old and "Leno's Law" recently passed in California - this car is exempt from smog - google Leno's Law (Jay Leno)
You are correct - it has not yet become law. I dug a little deeper and learned that the California Senate passed the law (overwhelmingly 33 to 3) but it now has to be voted on by the California Assembly (this year sometime, July?) and is expected to pass. It is also expected that the Governor will sign the bill (will not veto it). However if all this happens - the Bill is slated to take effect January 2027. AARGH - why do these things take so long.....
