    does any one know if the cap and rotor on a dual dist. system was used on another vehicle,such as an Alfa or Fiat? or possibly a manufactures part # for them?

    The good news is the caps are rebuildable, get a new rotor and the cap contacts only unless it is cracked....

    Also check the rotor CAREFULLY for length and fitment, as there are some that are "off' by enough to tear everything up....too long at the contact end.

    Thanks for the reply. caps are cracked and have been reasembled using JB weld.So far they have held up for two years now.I do worry when i take it out.I was just curious if there was a inexpensive cap and rotor out there somewhere on another vehicle.
