    I replced this seal and it is still leaking! Does any one know if there is a updated seal? or is there something that i not seeing or doing? I replaced the seal with valve cover off. so i know the spring did not pop off. I then went back in and shortened the spring. still no luck! .any help would be appreciated.

    It sounds like the seal is out of round on the cam

    matteo i did have the same thing hapen to my 80 308 gtsi new seal it was leaking. i just order a new one from gt carparts put it in and that was it.

    The seal you ordered was it black and about 10 mm thick?It seems to me that the inside diameter of the seal i bought from ICP is too large!

    yes black with groves on the lip to keep the oil from comming out. make shure to use ultra black RTV around the seal some on the valve cover before you bolt it in down this helps to keep the seal in plase + no oil leaks.
