    I'm about to investigate the back side of the fuse boxes on my 1980 400i (ser.1) just for preventative maintainance..would anyone out there happen to have any pics..or better yet....I just may be able to build new ones if there were a burned-out set available for me to inspect..It is my understanding that ser.1&2 are quite different form each other...Thank you all in advance..Jacques.

    This box is what I have to look after tomorrow. The fuel pumps do not start and it seems there might be some bad connection in this area, according to skilled more forumers. In case we (I should say the mechanic) has to dismantle it, then I'll take pictures for you.
