    FYI, the serial number "347453" is wrong. The report excerpt on the Ebay ad from Cavallino about the Reading Concours in 1994 shows that it is 34753.

    Sure looks to be a gorgeous example, but I'd bet the asking price is a bit strong given the current market...

    These can't be the same car. Different vins and the rust bubble was an automatic.

    Does the ad say new paint? Watch out!!!

    That "4" is probably a typo.

    My guess would be an emphatic Yes, I've never seen the rear side marker so high on the 1/4 panel as this on, rather odd looking.

    Hagerty has Daves '84- 5 sp valued @ $45K (IIRC) & my '83- 5 sp @ $38K (I didn't challenge them on the value diff.), & I think Aidan's '80 auto is @ $35K w/a good amt. of miles to boot.

    My guess would be 'more often than not' these babies have been repainted not necessarily because of rust but rather to freshen them up a bit.
