This is the best way, to have fellow chatters enter into the discussion!! That's a BEAUTIFUL example! Speaking to the market, I feel it's "just slow" right now, after a big run up (possibly real, possibly dealer driven) on the 308 series. I have an early carbed GTB. But your car, low miles, known owner history, indoor storage, really, its The best you can find! It looks wonderful! I think the market is stable and while maybe "not climbing' as some might wish it is not falling either.... GLWS! As to other ad markets, I have always felt the FCA Classifieds was "owners selling to owners", if you are member (it's only $175 to join!). The other worldwide newsletter is the Ferrari Market Letter. Maybe I am telling my age, but I would use those over the BAT or eBay markets, any day of the week! Red/Black and given condition I think your ask is very reasonable. Watch the California auctions and see if there are any comps presented there, for guidance. There's a blue carbed Euro GTB down the street, they want $154K
So these cars are not depreciating that's for sure! The early injected are "of a time", so folks will not like the Orange Zone Speedo and other Federal miss mash. But a savvy owner could work this car into a very strong runner, and not be "obvious" about it!
OP - since you are asking for what might help generate interest; Add detailed service history and assessment of current condition and needs. 2-owner 308 is pretty rare and this should find a home...try the places Bigtex mentioned and also see what Bring a Trailer will do in terms of giving you a reserve you can live with...
Love my '80 308 GTSi, but they have been slow movers for a while now, since that big run-up bubble burst a few years back. Glad I got mine before that! You don't see nice ones for $40K anymore. Be patient. It's a great car. Don't give it away.
Hey Martin, I found your 308 on Craigslist, NC. I was wondering if that actually you or if someone is playing some games. 308 holiday greetings Mauri
Scam....*******s. https://eastnc.craigslist.org/cto/d/1980-ferrari-308-gtsi/6766143120.html Unless there's really a 6spd in this
Hey Mauri, Thanks for finding this. Yes its a fake post in Craigslist. Unbelievable. Good catch. Martin.
Just saw the craigslist ad and a quick vin search brought me here. I thought 50k sounded like a great deal...
