My 308 won't idle after it warms up, it will start back up but will not idle. Any suggestions?

Are you saying that everything was running fine and this new bad behavior appeared suddenly, or are you resurrecting a car that has never worked properly (i.e. may never have been tweaked up correctly) in your experience? (Being post #1 is a bit suspicious ;))

As always, the first thing to do is confirm/deny spark on both banks when it won't idle. If it has spark on both banks and if it will run OK at larger throttle openings after the restart (but won't warm idle) = strong sign that the warm control pressure has changed significantly since the mixture was last set = measuring the WUR's cold and warm control pressures to see if in spec would be my next diagnostic step -- JMO.

This is new behavior. It ran great before. It runs fine after restart just won't idle. Idles great when cold.

With good power? It will run perfectly smooth on only one bank, but with low power. Confirm/deny spark on both banks first (I edited my post after you quoted it).

It feels fine with throttle. No noticeable power loss. It just won't idle.

Then back to making sure that the cold and warm WUR control pressures are OK or not. If OK, you should be able to set the warm idle mixture and idle airflow and have a good idle. If not OK, that (the WUR) needs to be fixed first (and then the warm idle airflow and idle mixture set). Good Hunting!

Fiel injected or carbureted? If it's fuel, injected, check your cold start relay, and your regular fuel pump relay, it could be starting up on the cold start relay but not running on the regular run relay. A new relay might fix your problem.
It would also be helpful to know what year model and whether your car is a US or Euro version.
