    Friends, I am trying to replace the timing belt drive seal on my 1981 308GTSi. Having a hard time removing the lock nut that holds the drive pulley on. Does anyone know if it's a left or right turn loosening nut? Thank you in advanced!

    Soak it. I used a quick burst on an impact. Loosened right up.

    thanks guys, got it off. now where is the seal? thought it was supposed to be behind the gear.
