Those pics are horrible!! Poor 308.
To remove this ad click here.
well try comparing prices for used parts on sites like
this is jus a few but its a start, you can also like these sites know that you have a 308 to part out and want do they need that someone they know is looking for,hey its all good
Does the black door panel indicate a repaint?
I give you $500.00 for the targa top, all you need is another $5,500.00
If it was near where I am, I would buy it for sure.
It does to me. That and the red interior.
That two a week die.
This is one that is serving that number. Really too bad, but believable.
You guys really think that many? If so, where are they parted out I need some parts?!
Do any of you have a clue what a working used gearbox goes for? A pair of unwarped heads? Cam covers, springs, suspension bits, steering rack, hood, bumper, manifolds, sensors, NLA plastic lights/signals, etc.??? There was $13,000 in used parts sitting right there in front of you (probably even more $$$ if you ebay'ed everything). The market for good, used NLA items for 308s is STRONG right now.
does anyone knows how to get in contact with this seller? I tried the # posted but it is not operational.
I am not too far from it and would like to take a look at it.
Oops sorry my fault the correct number is 434-985-3077 (My eyes aren't as good as they used to be.) If you end up getting it I would love to help you take it apart.
I need parts too! don't leave me out
Then buy it.
Too bad to see a 308 Disappear like that. did I notice a 928 in the background? any info on that car?
Problem is that many of the parts are as worn as the bit you need to replace.
My guess, it was parked up when the belt broke. If so, forget that head etc.
Chances are good that FerrParts/Ted Rutlands has beat me to it.....
Thank you very much!
I will call the guy tomorrow and, if he still has it, will go and take a look at it. I would like to restore this car and I believe it can come back just beautiful. The truth is that I just sold my '81 308 and I already miss it. I just love the 2v injected. I am doing a rotisserie restoration on my '71 Fiat 124 sport spyder and the only driver I have is the '60 Fiat 500 D (13 hp and 50-60 mpg).
Need a project!
Well that would be a happy ending. I talked to the guy about shipping it to NoVA and I think you can talk him into free delivery since you are pretty close. He does have the title and keys.
I saw this car was still sitting there this past Sunday but according to my information it was SOLD yesterday for about $6500 to someone in southeastern Virginia. So which one of you bought it and what are you going to do with it?
