Who knows the story with this one- This was up a while ago- maybe on ebay or hemmings- The seller, from his phrasing appears to be German- the car is in Florida- Curious

    Hello,

We have ever talked about this car. Was last year in Palm Beach for FCA Maranello Madness.
Sold very recently at auction Fort Lauderdale 16-18 March 2012 : 21450$ for a 20-25000 $ estimation. Was originally Marrone Colorado but don't remember who told that, it was (i'm sure) on F-Chat in the 20 last subjects !
Now it is annouced by a german guy on mobile.de for 35K€ : http://suchen.mobile.de/auto-inserat/ferrari.400i%20automatik%20%20%28%2016%20660%20km%20%29.tiefenbronn/159370494.html?lang=de&pageNumber=1&__lp=2&scopeId=C&sortOption.sortBy=price.consumerGrossEuro&makeModelVariant1.makeId=8600&makeModelVariant1.modelId=16&makeModelVariant1.searchInFreetext=false&makeModelVariant2.searchInFreetext=false&makeModelVariant3.searchInFreetext=false&negativeFeatures=EXPORT

Several german guys often buy american cars but normally they ship them back in Europa before putting back for sale.

The only other one that I have seen had yellow fan blades behind the grill. Real quality paint job! :(

I remember your comments about that car! Something about the fans turning whilst the car was being painted.

while i'm a well documented fan of 'anything-but-yellow' on anything, especially on this model, the condition actually makes it work...
hard to believe...but the rare/correct ride height always helps...it needs clear/white driving lights/turn signals upfront, though!
    thanks Paul !

Aiden, good to hear from you again...seems like it's been awhile !

I can't help thinking with yellow coating outside, chocolate interior...it's an M&M!

got to say thats the worst colour combination i've seen in a long while. I don't think yellow the best colour for these cars i'm afraid.

I have to agree. Many good sized Ferraris actually look good in giallo FLY but this one seems to be a darker and brighter yellow than that. The chocolate brown interior doesn't appeal to me but would probably look much better against a dark outside color, such as black, dark blue or dark green. Amazing since someone chose that color for their repaint!

Thanks, Brett. I'm always around - several times a day in fact, but I guess I've been quiet. Taking my 400 out of storage on Friday. Still looking for an ignition switch!

    Cheers
