    Kyalami 4900 ( AM129/49) 35000 km
    Matching numbers, complete history.
Copies of CERTIFICATE of ORIGIN, FINAL TEST DATA SHEET, DELIVERY NOTE and END OF LINA DATA SHEET from Maserati in Modena existing.
    Engine V8 4930 cm3 / caburettors
    Gearbox Manual type ZF S5.24.4.3
    Body FRUA
    Rims „Fuse“ Campagnolo
    External Colour Black
    Interior Fungo leather

This rare model was produced in February 1982 and delivered to Lugano in Switzerland
In total only 200 KYALAMI were built between 1977 and 1983, thereof 130 with a 4,2 liter and 70 with a 4,9 liter engine. This one has the 4,9 liter engine with 280 HP at 5600 rpm and a manual 5speed gearbox from ZF.
From September 1982 to October 1999 the car was based in Switzerland. I bought this car in April 2010 in Germany. The low „mileage“ of 35.000 km is comprehensible as I have the original documents of the emission tests in Switzerland.
In the years 2011 and 2012 the underbody was completely restored including the wishbones etc. with new clutch, new dampers, differential reconditioned and upgraded. A new handmade exhaust system and new Michelin XWX tyres, dimension 225/70 are installed.
All works were done and documented by classic car restauration experts in Hockenheim / Germany.
The car has the second paint because one of the pre-owners repainted the car again in the original colour. The interior is still original and in good condition.
During the restauration also an old damage at the rear was completely repaired.
Original vehicle toolkit and the original spare tyre existing.

The car drives very smoothly. It is a wonderful GT. The last V8 GT of Maserati until 1990 when the Shamal came up.

Congrats on the sale. This is the second one I've ever seen come up. I was actually debating between the 308 and one of these back when I picked up my Fcar. Somewhere deep down I wonder what it would have been like if I had given the Kyalami a home instead.
