1982 308GTBi for sale $99,000 with ATS Racing efi conversion and turbocharger kit. This car runs/drives amazing. This is the sixth turbocharged 308/Mondial we have done, my blue 308 GTS is probably the most famous. The combination of classic car and modern electronics that help produce modern levels of horsepower is awesome.

The car looks great! Can someone tell me if the 308i still had sodium valves? Of course the QV does not but when did they make the change?

This was in a discussion in another group today. Yes, I think all the 2V motors did, however there was a manufacturer change around 1980 and it's only the earlier ones with issues. The other thing I read was that it was related to the air injection system. For examle the 512bbi cars used the same valves, but failures are unheard of presumably because none of them had the air injection system.

Blue is the before. Red is on pump gas. Green is the Party Mode on E85 flex fuel. The ECU automatically changes the tune as necessary based on input from the ethanol content sensor. The numbers are WHEEL horsepower. Divide by .8 to get flywheel numbers: 165/.8=206 horsepower, almost exactly what Ferrari rated it at.

There is no lag. Period. It doesn't feel turbocharged like an F40. Instead it feels more like a large displacement but high revving engine.
