Ideally rosso corsa exterior (not as picky about interior). The car will be modified and driven, so the car doesn't need to be low mileage / original (although I'm not against it).

It seems an '83 GTB pops up about once a year, so I figure this is bit of a waiting game (especially since one recently sold to @61etype a few months ago). If anyone has one that they're willing to part with, please let me know.

Just out of curiosity. What is the difference between a 1983 vs. the 1984/1985?

There are some minor differences, but the main reason I am looking for an '83 is because 1983 was a personally significant year (nothing to do with cars).

If push comes to shove and I can't find an '83, I may just give in and get one from any of the QV years. I intend on modifying the engine and would prefer to start with 4 valves (going to mototechnique for the 388 "evo" mod).

FYI, moderators: I ended up acquiring a 1983 512 BBi. We can remove the "wanted" tag /status.

Thank you! I hope you're still enjoying your 308.

While I didn't originally set out looking for a 512, it was too good of a set of circumstances to pass up. It was imported in July 1983 (the same month I was born), and it was in Miami already (maybe 20 min away), so I was able to inspect it / test drive it multiple times.
