Hi Everyone: After 14 fun years with this silver/black 5 speed, it is time to move on to something new and different, so I am offering my car for sale on FerrariAds: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/vbclassified.php?do=ad&id=10499 The car is in very good original driver condition and is offered at a fair and realistic $29,500 obo. The car is receiving a fresh service and will be ready to go on to a new owner who will be able to enjoy it for the next phase of its life. IIRC it is around April 1983. It entered the U.S. on August 23, 1983 and received its EPA and DOT release and exemption letters in May 1984.
Beautiful car, love the color. This is making me think I should ditch the muscle cars and get one of these to go along with my f355...Unfortunately I don't think it'll last long enough on the market for me to be in position to get it.
John, Your car has me thinking too. I have a gut feeling that I will really kick myself if I miss out on this one.
nice car and realistic pricing if everything works properly. if the car would have been near to my place i´d taken a closer look!
Enthusiast owned 5 speed... I would value any 12 cylinder Ferrari substantially higher when purchased from a private party who drives the car and has kept up with maintenance over the typical cars that we see on ebay- the ones that sit on "High Line" dealer's lots for months or years. Hope it goes to a good home! Those of you on this forum who have been kicking the tires for years should really make a move.
<Shameless sales pitch> Time to seize the day and act on your dreams everyone! It's not as if there are hundreds of these cars around and it is hands down the best value in a V12 Ferrari!
Hi Everyone! I've advertised my 1983 400i 5 speed on FerrariAds here on FChat for two weeks now and it is time to widen the net a little bit for additional exposure to potential buyers. I don't often sell cars, the last time I sold a car was a vintage race car three or four years ago and that went to a buyer in Switzerland who found me through a marque enthusiast website, similar to FChat. What sites and publications do you feel provide the best reach and exposure for a car like mine? Cars.com? Autotrader? Hemmings? eBay? Please let me know your thoughts and experiences in this area. Thanks!
John, Very popular sites in europe are: www.autoscout24.eu www.mobile.de Good luck and best regards, Jan
