    Greetings.
    In 2005 I had the Catalytic Converter removed from my 1984 308QV. No emissions testings where I live and the Slow Down light was coming on.

    Today, nearly 20 years later the light has come on. Not being a mechanic I am wondering what else could have triggered the Slow Down Light when there is no Cat?

    Someone snuck into your garage and reinstalled the cat?

    it’s probably a grounding issue or a wire making ground, completing the circuit and illuminating the slow slowdown light. Not sure if the slow down lights illuminate when you turn the ignition on, but that could also be the source of the problem. FWIW i’m not a mechanic either. Just throwing some ideas out there.

    Defective slow down sensor box is not unusual.
