Try a search on "512BBLM" and see if those fender shapes look similar (your photo looks more similar to those vs some of the aftermarket "flared" shapes). Do you have any side shots showing the air intakes form?

Fenders are not aftermarket. Body panels and modification are factory original.
It is not Koenig aftermarket kit, no engine modification , no turbo. This 512 sp is
    Factory original.

The body design looks the same as what I posted the link to. Might not be the same car.

The factory does have some history of doing limited special projects and one-offs if that's what this is. And, Pininfarina also has some history of doing this. So, anything's possible. Early styling study for the TR rear deck lid, maybe?

Never heard of read of any such thing as a factory-built 512 "sp12". But, it's not like they tell me all of their special projects, anyway.

We've all likely seen photos of Koenig add-ons without engine modifications, so I don't know if the lack of engine modifications is indicative of anything.

Very interesting, causing many questions. Do you have more pictures? What does it say on the back? Are the radiators located at the back, hence the side air intakes? Testarossa connections?
    Thanks!

    Best, Peter

if its a factory change, then this looks like a test mule for tr development. if so, then i am surprised it ever got out of the factory, and that it got a license.

in germany if you have the right connections you can get a license ( I think you mean the registration or license plate ? ) for every vehicle.

but I wonder about this wide body 512i: never seen and never heard about this

would be nice to get more info about this car and more detailed pictures please.
as bigodino already asked, where are the radiators?

From the page I linked to, the photos show a front-mounted radiator. Standard BB/BBi configuration. However, unless someone can verify that this is the same s/n...

I seriously doubt this is a factory job but if it is...I'm sure it will have gone for large coin. I will know more on Tuesday or certainly by Wednesday.

That engine lid is a modified testarossa lid. Sombody put a heck of a lot of work into that car however.

maybe, it has that look for sure but to fit it to a boxer cabin would be a real challenge.

I was not clear, my apology. I own this 512, I am not asking anyone to investigate who owns it or how much it was sold for. I am just asking if anyone knows how many wide body were produced in 1984..

Just curious, but what makes you think the factory produced this or any others?
