    can you repaint the rear bumpers on a 1984 400i in the original black and what type of paint is good to use

    Silken (or Silkolen?) Rally Black is a perfect match. It is very expensive as a catalyst paint shot from a gun but spray cans are available just will not be as tough as a cured paint. Also, you can't add flex additives to the spray can.
