That CA Bar code is worth the bucks!!!

 

For those of us in crazy CA— yes. Can’t be too many (maybe a couple of other ones), that are legal in this state. Curious how many Boxers total wound up in the US— anyone have an idea?

 

I would think quite a few were in CA as it's the land of celebs and load a of money, great weather and fantastic roads. Mine was there for a bit, but did not have a BAR sticker on it. My thought is most who have/had them have them registered somewhere else or have friends who can get them to pass inspection.

Well it arrived from Monterey this morning and I did a short drive. All I can say is WOW! I love my Dino and 328 but this car has wicked power. Clutch is stiffer than other 2 cars but no issue at all; it just requires more finesse than the other cars. I feel like I’m driving a race car. All books tools showed up as did the correct equalizer and speakers. Only one set of keys but they are original. The fog lamps in front are yellow but there is another set that came with the car that are clear— not sure which is correct. Anyway, am super happy!!!!

Thanks 2Dinos— took the car out today for a bit more spirited driving. I thought my black 328GTB and Marone Metallizzato Dino get a lot of attention but something about the Boxer that really turns heads. With respect to the Dino, I think half the people are trying to figure out what it is since they are rarely seen in the wild (same could be said for the other two cars I guess). Anyway got the revs up today—the engine sound and the entire drive experience is so intoxicating!

 

The more you drive them the better they get. I can't recommend enough to get a set of 17 inch rims and modern rubber, it will make your spirited drives way more fun.
