1984 Mondial Cab Fog Light switch removal

Can anyone tell me how to get the fog, hood, trunk, and other misc switches out on the left hand side of the dash.

My front bonnet doesn't open nor do the foglights light on (not even the indicator on the dash). I understand that some of these switches my have a relay riveted on. Thanks.

 

You have to remove the instruments to remove the switches. There is a thread somewhere here about it. Anyway you have to do something like this (as far as I remember):
1) gently prise off the square black plastic bezels from the speedo & tacho
2) remove the screws that you can see
3) remove speedo & tacho
4) the odometer, clock and switches (as a block) then should be free to lift out
5) the rest is obvious

 

That did the trick!!
