I will never understand why people take pictures of their car so low to the ground, are you sitting on the ground when you took these photos? You can mix it up a bit.

Don't euro cars have round dot turning side signals not square blocks like the US spec has?
Is this a US spec just upgraded with bumper skirt and grill?

No, and no. For the QV, Ferrari changed the European front side marker light to a slim rectangular light, it's half the height of the US front side marker light.

Here's a Euro QV side marker light:

Cool example, and good for you bring a 308 to this level. I am curious as to why one would pay very nice 360 money for a 308 though. I mean no offense by that, you certainly have the money invested, it just a lot of money for a 308.

nice car! if the paint and interior is of similar quality to the gorgeous Daytona you did several years back...this 308 must certainly be a sweet machine!!

    looks like nice work wade.

When you do a bare metal respray on a galvanized car, it is no longer galvanized on those surfaces. If you're sanding it to the bare metal, you're sanding off the zinc plating and making it as susceptible to rust as something from the '70s. A mistake that owners of 1980s Porsches commit frequently.

Why would anyone do that, and why are you assuming he sanded it??? He used baking soda for his blast media.

Soda blast my friend, and you are correct so many do it wrong, soda not only protects the galvanization it will add a layer of protection so you can take your time with body work and not have to hurry up and prime. I know what I'm doing

Well done Wade. $85K is a steal. Put the original wheels (including steering) back on and you sell it in a week. As is...a week and a half, maybe two. :)

Whenever we do mine, remind me to get rid of the rear marker lights and return the fronts to Euro spec. Might be awhile though, lol.

Is this car in the Euro registry?

I'd like to think I have my finger on the pulse of the market, I can't find any examples of 308s this high, again, not challenging, just curious where they are for my own education.

Are you taking about all 308s when you say this ?

I can tell you first hand two euro glass that start with a 3 , and one US glass started with a 2.

Usually cars like this one listed do not go on eBay/fchat or autotrader.

The OP should really consider bringing the car to auction and correcting it back to original cosmetically to get his number or higher.

How many fully restored examples have you found on the market and how much are they being offered for? That restoration work is worth something. How much above the cost of any of the very nice examples we find for sale every day is, I think, up to the buyer and seller...

From my perspective, the 308 is more car. Problem is finding a fully sorted one. I would pay up for the right car.

This. Originality probably doesn't matter in the $30K-$40K "driver" range, but in the $70K-$150K range buyers are more sensitive to that.

    Back in the USA:

    Autosport Designs

Asking $89K for a low mileage '85. Granted I don't think this is the best one in the world either, but it is a nice car.

Plenty of worn out $50K 308s out there, but collectors seem to be waking up to the fact that there are no deals left among the 246s and prices for properly kept 308s are starting to look more like this one.
