Sold 1985 308 QV GTS $74,000

The time has come to pass my girl on to a new caretaker. Eyesight issues don't allow me to drive it anymore. It has been sitting in the garage for 2 years, so time to let her go.

1985 Ferrari 308 QV. 46,xxx miles rossa corsa with black interior. Runs great, and everything works as it should.

In the last few years (less than 500 miles):
New timing belts (will be due again)
New Hill Engineering tensioner bearings
All fluids changed
New fuel lines
New vapor lines
New fuel injection lines
New oil cooler lines
New fuel pump
New accumulator
New suspension bushings
New tires

Birdman fuse box
Rear parcel shelf and surrounding areas recovered in black leather
Window and antenna switches replaced
All switch and A/C labels replaced
Power antenna replaced
A/C converted to 134a (not currently charged)

Exterior of car is in very nice condition. Interior of car is also in very nice condition. Seats show some age, but are in overall good condition. Previous owner had tweeters installed in dash. Has owners manual, toolkit and jack kit. Missing owners manual pouch.

Are the fender shields stickers or paint or what? Can they be removed? And is the paint red or faded ? The pics look faded.

 

The shields are just the magnetic ones. Come right off. I think the color you are seeing is just the lighting. The first pic on the lift is indoors and probably more accurate. I have owned it for over 15 years, and it has always lived in a climate controlled garage, so paint should have very little fade.

 

Did you change the front turn signal lenses? If you did do you have originals. Is the exhaust stock? Any kind of leak down test?

 

Any service records from the past owners and you?

 

Yes, the front lenses we re changed by me. I have the original lenses and they come with the car. The exhaust is stock. It has all emissions as well that pass in Maryland. Compressions were good when I purchased the car, and I have only put a few thousand miles on it.

 

Yes, numerous receipts dating back around 20 years including an engine out by Algars Ferrari in the early 2000s where seals were replaced.

 

Any chance the Delorean is also yours? And for sale? I'd be interested in a package deal if so ?

Beautiful car and very fair price IMO - Not surprised it did not last very long - Hopefully the new owner is super-psyched and drives and cars for her.
