This car has been for sale 3 times on Ebay in the last six months. Twice while located in Phoenix and now once in Oregon.....seems very strange. Do your diligence.

Doesn't seem strange to me... it just seems that the seller hasn't been able to find a buyer who values the car as much as he does (i.e. a starting bid of $45K). Maybe he'll get his price, and maybe he won't; only time will tell...

The seller's motivation for selling could be as simple as he bought it as a 2-seat alternative to his Dino, then had a change of heart.

Why cast doubt on a unique car without knowing anything more?

The car should stand on its own merits as a unique color combination. Have a PPI done, and remember that the car is still 29 years old, and not perfect.
The Seller's motivation should not be a factor for a serious buyer.

The body-colored painted targa top looks really nice on this particular color 308. Usually it doesn't work too well, but on this one it does, IMHO.
