Offered for sale is a final model year, European version Ferrari 308QV GTS. This car is in outstanding condition and has been regularly driven and maintained. Overall everything in the car is functioning as intended with the exception of a few minor things which I will outline further on. I purchased the car in 2015 from an individual in Orlando Florida and I am the 4th owner. The owner I purchased the car from has added the majority of the 33k +/- miles during his time. According to him, the first owner imported the car to the States in the mid 80’s and owned it as part of a car & plane collection in Florida. The second owner was very brief and sold the car due to a divorce. As I mentioned I am the 4th owner and I have maintained the car in mostly original condition with some modifications that enhanced its driving abilities. Few experts in the Ferrari field would be able to point out the changes. The car is stunning and performs well. The paint is original with the exception of the front spoiler and grilles above the pop-up headlights and hood which I had repainted when I purchased the car due to some rock chips and scrape marks along the spoiler edge. I also had a paint correction done on the car in 2016. The paint quality is still amazing, water beads off the car effortlessly and the gloss and shine are incredible. Of course upon a very, very close inspection some minor scratches/nicks/dents/imperfections can be found, but you really have to look for them. Considering this is single stage 37 year old Italian pain, it is as perfect as you’ll find. The interior of the car was also completely redone in 2016 by a professional shop in Houston Tx. I carefully selected them as they had previously completed several other 308s in our area and their work is amazing. They used appropriate Connolly leather hides and custom stitched the seats, door panels and center console. The original seat cushions were used. Their craftsmanship is amazing, down to accurate stitching patterns, angles and even the Ferrari stamp in the head rests. At this time the oil temperature gauge was rebuilt and new lens and bezel was changed on the clock in the center console. I’ve come across many redone 308 interiors over the years and I’m appalled at how sloppy some of the work is. Just pay attention to the angles of the stitching in the seats and how overfilled some of the bolsters look. This interior is amazing. The only change I made from the factory set up is the red piping on the seats. Items that were not replaced include the black vinyl dash, arm rests and the headliner along the targa top and around the read window. The dash and arm rests are in great shape, no tears, rips, sags and holds a great shine. Recently I upgraded all of the dash cluster lighting with bring LED lights. Now you can see what the gauges show you at night but most importantly you can see the blinker indicator lights during the day. I wish I had done this years ago! At that time the radio was also replaced with a very 80’s looking Jensen headunit which has USB input as well as Satellite Radio. I love the look and it doesn’t have any flashy fancy 2015 LED-esque displays that don’t fit the vintage of this Ferrari. Additional modifications during my ownership include: Updated fusebox to the Birdman 308 Fusebox, power window accelerators, steering rack & pinion replacement. Timing belt along with water pump and rear timing belt plates was replaced in December of 2016 (approximately 1100 miles ago). Another big improvement which made a dramatic change in the drivability of Texas 100 degree+ weather is an upgrade to a Wizard Cooling aluminum radiator. It has made a noticeable change in the drivetrain running temp and the car consistently runs with a few degrees of 90 even in hot August days in Texas. Additional work over my ownership includes repacking the drivers side rear bearing and turning all 4 rotors. The windshield washer fluid reservoir/pump & water jets have also been replaced and the wiper/washer system is functional. Finally back in 2020 I replaced the original 14’ TRX wheels & tires with reproduction 16 QV stye wheels from SuperformanceUK. These are very very close reproduction wheels to the actual QV style wheels and only a handful will identify the differences but they are great because you won’t have to panic if they get a chip or some curb rash. They are wrapped in Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires (205/55/16 Front and 225/50/16 Rear) and have about 600 miles on them. The original 14 TRX wheels are included with the car if the buyer wants them. They are quite rare and I believe are worth some money. If you are ever interested in preserving this 308 as completely as original as it possible you’ll want to hang on to the TRX wheels. They are not perfect cosmetically but I don’t think they are bent or damaged in any serious way. I drove the car with them for most of my ownership. A note on a few items that are not working. The AC does not hold a charge. It was never high on my priority list to address as AC in 308s was not very well designed from the factory and not very effective. I usually drive the car early in the morning on weekends during summer time and didn’t find the AC necessary. I charged the AC about a month ago and it held it for about 2 weeks. Also the power antenna does not work (I have not listened to FM/AM since 2009, and the antenna is so tall I never would want it up anyway). The switch on the console works, if this is something you want to fix I believe it is an easy job and the antenna is easily accessible in the trunk. The car comes with the original manual, tool bag with jack (tool bag is mostly complete) and records of all work I have done during my ownership. I was not provided many records from the previous owner. I’m also including all parts that I have removed or changed on the car (except old radiator). I hold a clear title in my name for this 308. I chose selling it in this format vs listing with an online auction as I don’t think buyers are dying to pay a 5% premium to an auction site. I assume if you are genuinely interested in a Ferrari 308 you know what you are looking at and you can appreciate a European model with low miles that is property sorted. I would say this car is right on the line of being a garage queen but in reality it is a car that is often driven and appreciated. I have only put on about 2800 miles during my time with it but the car is taken out for a drive at least twice per month. During the fall/winter/spring times we do take it on longer rides on the weekends. It has been included in the Keels and Wheels Concourse in Seabrook TX and has always been a stunner. I am really grateful for my time with this car, I’m selling it in order to scale up my business, so we are rearranging some of our assets. Who knows, maybe it will be back in my garage in the future. A few transactional details to keep in mind… You are welcome to visit and inspect the car in person. I do hav more photos I can share, I can only post 100 on the listing. Payment to be made only via wire transfer. The car and documents will NOT be released until 3 business days after the funds have cleared. With the rise of scams involving cashier’s checks, wires, etc this is not up for discussion. I will not arrange or pay for shipping. You are welcome to ship the car and I’m happy to work with your company but you as a buyer will handle all shipping costs. I’m happy to discuss the car further and answer any questions you may have. My price is firm so I’m not interested in discussing or negotiating price. If you are looking for a more affordable version, driver level cars are out there and available much cheaper. List price is $127,500.

Thank you Steve. Yes, some great examples have come out now that people are starting appreciate these cars more. But I've seen quite a few listed recently that have been used and abused, so sad!

Veso, I Love EVERYTHING about this car. It has all the right things (Euro). My First Ferrari was pretty much identical to this (besides the seat pipping). So Much fun and GREAT memories. Good luck with the sale. People, If your looking for a Great 308, IMO, this is the right car.

Thanks Mark, I agree. Especially when you consider the buyer ended up paying an additional $5000 fee to the auction. There’s about 3 others that sold for over $100k in the last few months. But also the last 3-4 308s on BaT didn’t meet reserve. So we shall see!

That's an honest seller that shows the bottom of the front lip in it's feral state!

I warn people all the time about "mounting 16"s"!!
    :D :D

I have a friend who, after sampling my 1977, really has the bug.
Simply put, the Market has moved quite a bit, the QVs present a later, more refned car than the early carbed models.

    This is a good deal.

Beautiful job on the interior. Do you mind sharing who did that work for you in Houston (and who helped you with the upgrade upgrade to the Wizard Cooling aluminum radiator?). Thanks!
