From a commissioned photoshoot in early June in southern Louisiana. Posted in the LA page, but figured I'd share in the 328 section too.

And as usual, Fchat scales the widescreen images down; so check them out on my site to see them in all their uncompressed, un-pixelated glory.

    Hope you all enjoy them.

I especially like the ones with the car on the move.
The blurry backdrop makes the lines of the car even more beautiful!
    Thanks for sharing.

    Looks great.

That over the nose photo ("Twin Span") is a great angle on the 328.

You should post these in the 'Showroom' section where they have the '328 Mega-thread'.

Fantastic. The motion pictures are great.
Are the images HDR or manipulated in some other way?

Looks like an advertisement for a new car! Beautiful shots. What camera were you using? Lens?

I run all my photos through Lightroom 2.4 for minor color corrections, and utilize Photoshop CS4 to process every image. No HDR in this series, but a host of other methods were used to achieve the look.

    Thanks. :)

    Thanks so much.

    I'm using a Canon 5D MKII with several lenses for this series; 17-40mm f/4L, 35mm f/1.4L, 70-200mm f/4L.

Very nice photographs. You must be shooting from ground level. You can see under the car in most of the shots. Is there a reason that professionals take pictures this way?

Well, there's no unspoken, secret reason; generally a car looks more appealing/aggressive when it's viewed from slightly below. It also lets the viewer look at the car in a new light, other than the eye-level view that everybody knows so well.

Thanks. I notice that when I see a picture of an exotic car it is usually a worms view. I think this distorts the car. I much prefer eye level as I believe the car was designed to be veiwed this way. I love the nose shot between the bridges. Wonderful.
