Giallo (yellow) with Tobacco interior (also sometimes called chocolate). Mileage: approx 72K and driven regularly -- it does not sit around and the mileage is documented throughout the paperwork. Have full documentation in binder showing everything done to the car going back to 1989. Just had $9K major service last fall so all issues have been addressed. Clean carfax shows no accidents and no damage (can provide). Shifts right into second gear when cold. Previous two owners were Ferrarichat members as well. Car is located in Massachusetts. Asking $65,000 Will be providing more pics and videos soon. Yes -- that is the radar detector -- it addition to chirping it lights up the fan light above the gauges.
Phil, how tall are you? I'm 6'4" with a long torso, and have trouble getting comfortable in the 3x8's. Been looking at Mondials for some time now as a result, which have more room. But your 328, in that yellow.... Great color scheme, very appealing.
I'm 5'-11" and I actually drive with the seat all the way forward. If I put it all the way back I can't reach the pedals so there is definitely room. Ive had someone who was 6'-3" drive the car and it was fine.
Thanks! I must be doing something wrong. Gangly legs, maybe. This car ever registered/smogged in California? Your engine compartment photo shows the emissions sticker, but not clearly enough to make out whether it was CA compliant upon manufacture.
I will take a look! According to the records and Carfax, it was sold new in Massachusetts and spent time in TN and SC before coming back to MA.
Phil, to my knowledge there are two "chocolate" 328 interior color : Tobacco VM846 and darker Testa di Moro VM890. May yours is Testa di Moro ? Could you please post photo of the interior ?
An older shot of the interior where the flash make the seats look lighter than they are. When it stops raining here in the next day or so I will get better interior pics. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks! Forgot to mention that it has an X-OST Stainless exhaust but it comes with the original exhaust (bubble-wrapped) as well.
Thanks, Phil. Other than the X-OST exhaust, any other changes to the exhaust system that you're aware of? Cat converters still in place?
It has the test pipe in place of the cat, but I do have the original cat. It's always passed inspection but I see you're in California. Do they check for cats?
Sadly, yes. A visual inspection is part of the deal, not just a tailpipe sniffer. I think they hire retired proctologists to conduct inspections at this point...
This isn't the clearest shot but the test pipe is there along with the sensor. I do have the original cat with the car. I would be happy to put the old system back on for the new owner, or provide the components -- your preference. Image Unavailable, Please Login
